The End of an Era
Good morning and happy Saturday!
Well, I’ll get right to it. As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end.
When I launched Layoff Lemonade 3 months ago, I had no clue how people might react or how the message would be received. I was blown away at how quickly this newsletter grew to 730 people!
My goal was to help you realize how this time after your layoff can truly be a gift. I hope that LL has been a source of positivity for you throughout your journey.
However, Layoff Lemonade isn’t just a hobby for me. It’s a full-time job.
When I thought about where I saw my career going long-term, the brand just doesn’t align. It’s not my true passion.
On that note, I’m excited to announce my new newsletter venture:
The Solopreneur Sorority
My mission: Help female solopreneurs overcome their imposter syndrome by building an authentic personal brand to unlock their potential.
Women tend to avoid self-promotion. But as a female solopreneur, you need to stand out to be successful. In my own transition from corporate worker bee to solopreneur, I’ve learned that creating authentic content can empower you personally just as much as it does professionally. The right brand and positioning can make you magnetic so you naturally attract people and opportunities to you.
If my recent newsletter on breaking the mold and never returning to a 9-5 resonated with you, this is our time to shine. I’m ready to light things up and embolden female solopreneurs in ways they never thought possible.
If you’d like to subscribe to The Solopreneur Sorority, please add your name and email to this list. I’ll make sure to notify you when the newsletter launches!
This will be my last edition of Layoff Lemonade. If you need more help with your post-layoff journey, please consider getting The Layoff Lemonade Handbook: Ultimate Guide. It includes my best advice on how to get back on your feet through establishing structure and healthy habits, regaining your identity, and exploring new career options and monetization paths.
THANK YOU for being a part of the LL community! I can’t wait to see what you do next. Let’s cheers with a glass of lemonade in hand.
Big hugs, Jenny
